Mr. Claffey has played and reviewed golf courses in Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Ireland, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, and The Philippines. He has been featured in various magazines like Golf Teaching Pro Magazine, West Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Magazine and the prominent Hartford Courant.

With a generous and playful spirit, Dave devotes much of his time to teaching people of all ages and helping those in need.
He hosts the Barefoot Putting Challenge, with proceeds Brilliant Minds, an organization that supports children with autism and disabilities.
Fun Fact: Known “Barefoot Dave,” he appeared in the Golf Channel's hit series "Big Break" for three seasons. Celebrated for having one of the best short in the world, he boasts an impressive record of 12 under par.
